Miles has been going to the toddler gym with Jared about once per week. This is great for him to interact with other children, but it is becoming quite a test of his little immune system. He had a crazy high fever on Saturday when I got home from work (103.3 degrees), so the on-call pediatrician said to bring him in to the clinic yesterday during their sick baby hours. It sounds like he has influenza. The pediatrician said it was pointless to do the influenza test because he can't have the anti-viral medication until he's 12 months old anyhow, so we're just treating the symptoms. Poor little guy is pretty miserable. He slept almost all day today and wouldn't eat from a bottle. Fortunately I was able to come home to feed him so he didn't dehydrate too much.
New this week:
*Dancing to his musical toys. (ADORABLE.)
*Using "uh oh" appropriately. Most often when dropping food off the high chair tray or throwing toys over the baby gate.
He enjoyed playing with the empty Cheez-It box. It made a great hat.
We made smoothies out of frozen fruit and yogurt last night. Miles loved them.
Opened his mouth for more before I could take a bite.
It was a little messy.
Damien is a smoothie addict. He used to bawl his poor little eyes out when it was all gone!
