Brave Kitty

This is the closest she has been to Miles without freaking out. Probably helps that he is sleeping.

19 weeks!

Milestones:
-Squeaking/making new sounds
-Reaching for our food
-"Dancing" when he gets really excited
-Definitely teething (poor little guy)

18 weeks!

It's been a busy week! Miles had his 4 month well-baby appointment on Tuesday. Drumroll please....

16 pounds 4 ounces and 25 1/4 inches long.

He is getting so big!

Here are a couple of pictures from the week:
-Miles was given the go ahead to run with me in the stroller without the infant seat. He had fun looking around throughout the run rather than staring at me. Baby and mommy feet:

4 months!

Happy 4 months, Miles!

He fell asleep playing in the swing yesterday.

We moved his arm and attempted to put his head back, but he refused to cooperate...

Passed out on me with his matching shirt and diaper
4 month bear pictures

Miles was more interested in playing with the bear than posing for pictures

Done.

16/17 weeks!

We had a busy couple of weeks, and I started working again so there is less time to update the blog. Sad!

I have a few days off this week, so expect more updates soon. :)

Miles this week:
-Miles is 17 weeks old!
-He loves talking and making new sounds. He talks to his toys, he talks while I read him books, he talks to us.
-He is starting to sit unsupported if we prop him up with his hands.
-He is starting to tolerate tummy time for longer periods of time.
-He is drooling like crazy and chewing on everything - must be teething.

That hand tastes so good...

 Loves his feet

Just can't quite get them high enough to eat...

 Again
We made a delicious dessert. Thanks to Liz for posting the recipe. Chocolate chip cookie dough, double stuffed Oreos, and brownie batter layered in a 13x9 pan...
And the finished product. It's also great topped with ice cream. You know, just in case you didn't already fall into a sugar-induced coma.
