Giggle video

15 weeks!

Miles is 15 weeks old today! This past week, he has:

-Rolled from back to belly a few more times.

-Scooted forward over the boppy during tummy time.

-Tried sitting independently, and was able to hold himself up for a couple of seconds before toppling over.

-Discovered his feet.

-Decided on a few favorite toys.

-Gone for a couple of walks in the stroller without the car seat.

-Survived a 9-mile run with me. That's a long time to be in the car seat/stroller.

We went on a walk and stopped for some pictures on the bench. He enjoys looking at the camera when I take pictures now.

The blog has had some serious lack of Kitty and Simon lately.

Simon managed to fall out of our 2nd story window a week ago. He scraped his lip, but otherwise appears fine. I think the trip to the vet to get checked out was more traumatizing than the fall.

Giggles

Miles rolled from his back to his belly today! Then got very frustrated that he put himself on tummy time...

I took several videos of him after the roll to catch one, but he was having too much fun on his back. We did manage to get a few giggles on video:

Fun at the Park

We went for a nice long walk on Saturday and stopped by a park when Miles was awake.

Miles and Jared

Finally caught a tiny giggle on camera. Miles had a few good ones right before Jared turned the camera on, and usually shuts down as soon as the camera is on. Jared hid behind me for this one so Miles didn't see the camera. Fast forward to about 1:30 to catch the giggle and skip my random noises. :)

3 months!

Miles is 3 months today. He doesn't have another well baby appointment until 4 months, so we weighed him on the scale at home today. He weighs about 14 pounds. Nothing too official. I think he's grown quite a bit in length, but we'll wait and see the official measurements next month.

Milestones

-Sitting up on his own for a couple of seconds

-Rolled from his back to his right side yesterday. Three times.

-Got a fancy new high chair so he can join us when we eat at the table. The last few weeks, he is only happy when he sits on my lap while we're eating. Now he has a chance to be at the table with us, even if he won't start eating solids for another 3 months.

 He knows when I'm taking pictures, and instantly becomes Mr. Serious. This is as close to a smile as I could get that day.
