Pumpkin patch

We went to Mosby's Pumpkin Patch in Auburn yesterday. Here are some pictures:
 Boo!

 Miles picked out his pumpkin.

He didn't like the white pumpkins.

Fun with Food

Miles is starting to try new foods. They are surprisingly cheap and easy to make. I made him an acorn squash yesterday. I baked it in the oven and then mashed it up with a spoon. Then I put it in an ice cube tray to freeze. It was 50 cents and made 16 meals for him plus a side for supper for me!

Enjoying his oatmeal.

Sweet potatoes.

Showing off his Twins sweatshirt after a run with me. Don't worry, he is buckled in during the run!

5 1/2 months

Milestones:
-Miles loves rolling. He can roll in every direction now.
-He prefers to play on his tummy now, which is a huge change from screaming every time we put him on his tummy up until this week.
-Miles pushes up on his hands and pivots 360 degrees to play with toys.
-He enjoys sitting and playing with toys. (As long as he is supported a little so he doesn't face plant.)
-Miles tried avocado on Thursday. He made some funny faces but always accepted another spoonful! I hope he takes after his mommy and loves all kinds of foods.
-Napping in his pack and play right now. Proud mama has both arms free to clean (and blog)!
Pictures:
Drool monster.

Looks like he's ready to take off crawling.
Our little big foot needed new socks. I got the 12-24 months size because I thought he could grow into them, but they fit now.
 Talking to his snail toy.
 Sitting and playing with toys.
So sleepy after a big day yesterday.

Rolling and sleeping

We have a roller! Miles started pushing up on his hands during tummy time. I was talking to him while he was doing tummy time today and pushing up on his hands. I said, "one of these days, you will push up on your hands and roll right over."

Less than 30 seconds later, he did! Jared and I both saw him do it and cheered. He looked at us like we're crazy. Now Miles can roll in both directions. Guess we have to start babyproofing soon. :)

Jared got a picture of us sleeping:
